The ViAM workshop explores a key dimension of multimodality research—methods and tools for annotating, transcribing, and visualizing multimodal data. Through presentations and discussions, we will address the challenges of effectively navigating large-scale visual and audiovisual data and examine both established and emerging digital approaches for transcribing multimodal human interactions and filmic texts.
